Vinosha Abigail Thevarajah, Founder of Theva Law
From an early age, Vinosha was always fascinated with the legal profession and desired a career wherein she could utilize her talent in advocacy. She aligned her path towards fulfilling this dream by working in a busy boutique law firm at the age of 16.
After obtaining her Honours Degree in Psychology from York University, Vinosha entered the Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa in 2012 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016.
Prior to opening her own practice, she summered and articled at a boutique personal injury firm, as well as worked as corporate counsel for Sears Canada Inc.
Vinosha focuses on residential real estate, wills and estates, business law and civil litigation. She is a fighter and a very tactful negotiator who values her relationships with her clients. She is proud to accommodate services in both tamil and English.
Vinosha also serves as a lecturer for Medskool Reviews, teaching the medical/legal ethics course to foreign physicians and medical students looking to gain their Canadian Medical License. She also does pro bono work for her home church.
Vinosha is a member with the Law Society of Upper Canada, The Canadian Bar Association and South Asian Bar Association.
She is an animal-lover, a food-fanatic and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
